How to Clean a Wood Kitchen Floor
- 1). Sweep the kitchen floor with a soft broom every few days when you notice crumbs and buildup accumulating.
- 2). Pour 4 qt. water and 4 tbsp. vinegar into a cleaning bucket. The vinegar disinfects while it cleans, and diluting it makes the vinegar safe for use on the wood floor.
- 3). Place the mop in the bucket, and squeeze excess water out of the mop.
- 4). Clean the wood kitchen floor with the damp mop, following the grain of the wood as you wipe.
- 5). Let the floors air dry. Use the vinegar and water solution regularly as your disinfectant floor cleaner.
