How to Remove Rust From Scissors
- 1). Fill a small bucket with two cups of water and a 1/2 cup of white vinegar. Stir gently with a spoon to incorporate.
- 2). Open the blades of the scissors and place them in the water-vinegar mixture. Allow the blades to sit fully submerged in the mixture for two hours.
- 3). Remove the scissors from the mixture and rinse them under tap water. Wipe the blades firmly with paper towels to dry and remove the remaining rust with a wire brush.
