How to RestoreTeflon Pans
- 1). Make a mixture of 1 cup water, 2 tablespoons of baking soda and 1/2 cup chlorine bleach. Fill the pan with the mixture, being careful not to spill on the areas surrounding the pan.
- 2). Place the filled pan on the stove and boil the mixture for five to 10 minutes. Let it cool. Pour any remaining mixture out of the pan.
- 3). Wash the pan with soapy water and rinse well.
- 4). Rub a generous amount of vegetable oil into the pan with a paper towel. Results vary depending on condition and type of Teflon coating on pan.
