How to Clean White Vinyl Siding That Has Turned Almond Color?
- 1). Pour the laundry bleach into the bucket. If the bleach is in powder form, add hot water from your sink until the powder dissolves.
- 2). Attach the spray nozzle to the garden hose. Turn the nozzle to the spray setting. Rinse the white vinyl siding. Sweep the spray over the area from the bottom going upward. Soak the siding until it is dripping.
- 3). Dunk the brush into the laundry cleaning solution. Shake off the brush, pointing away from the house. Scrub each siding from left to right or up and down depending on the style. Start at the bottom. Use three applications on each white vinyl siding and then move to the next one.
- 4). Rinse the laundry bleach off the side of your home. Start at the top vinyl and sweep the spray downward. Beginning at the top will push all the dirt down so it will not affect the clean area.
- 5). If a faint almond color persists, repeat the steps one to two more times.
