Have a Chocolate-Covered Holiday with a Dallas by Chocolate Tour

9
Here is some unique holiday fun that you can have in Dallas. Catch the spirit of Dallas by Chocolate’s annual “Christmas Lights, Chocolate and Sips” tours, from November 28 through December 30. Yes, more than a month of merry-making, Dallas by Chocolate-style. Tours run almost every evening and during many days of December…and are great for all ages. Last year, more than 1,000 people took the tours and made unique holiday memories.

What:

Evening Lights Tours feature generous holiday treats at 2-3 Chocolate Destinations, then a journey through a wonderland of Christmas lights in the majestic Park Cities and (on some tours) Addison and Farmers Branch. The bus lights will be turned down low, and Christmas music will be playing as guests sip great beverages (these include wine, hot chocolate or hot cider, soft drinks and water…legally we can’t mention wine but we can serve it on the bus).

When:

In 2014, tours are nightly from November 28 through December 30 (except December 24 and 25). Tours are 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday nights. Itineraries will be sent a few days before each tour. Tours start at $39 per person plus tax. Several other options offered include “Tacos, Christmas Lights and Sips Tours” and “Barbeque, Christmas Lights and Sips Tours.”

Where:

Guests will meet the bus at one of several locations: Krispy Kreme (5118 Greenville Avenue at Lovers), Inwood/Lovers (5450 W.

Lovers near the Inwood Theatre), 11700 Preston (at Forest) or in Richardson at 100 S. Central Expressway, Richardson (SW corner of Belt Line and Central Expressway). Addison tour location to be announced.

Dallas by Chocolate’s daytime holiday Chocolate tours are just as perfect for your family, friends, employees. Tours are generally from 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. and include four to five chocolate venues. These tours are ideal for friends, family—including children, gifts for employees, office team-building events and visitors to Dallas. Most tours include chocolatiers (people who actually make chocolate), bakeries, cupcakes and more.

During the holiday season, guests will sample treats from such scrumptious establishments as CocoAndre Chocolatier, Isabelly’s Sweet Treats, Kessler Baking Studio, Nib Chocolate, Kate Weiser Chocolate, Village Baking Company, Crème de la Cookie, Dude, Sweet Chocolate, Trailercakes, Fluellen Cupcakes, Kate Weiser Chocolate, Joy Macarons, Rush Patisserie, Chocolate Secrets, Birdcage Bakeshop, Dallas Caramel Company or Sweet Firefly.

Dallas by Chocolate can also coordinate a holiday (or beyond) team-building event for companies and groups.
