Someone was recently surprised that there is enough Memphis nightlife for me to write about. 

It’s a common reaction, but lots of cities roll the streets up way before Memphis would ever want to.  There are bars and nightclubs that literally stay open all night. 

A local publication recently included a list of after-hours bars in their “Best of Downtown” survey.  There are countless places to hang out after a reasonable hour all over the city where rock-n-roll was born.
