How to Clean Stove Burner Drip Pans
- 1). Remove cooled drip pans from the stove and set aside.
- 2). Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil.
- 3). Add 1/2 cup of baking soda to the boiling water and stir with a wooden spoon until dissolved.
- 4). Place all the stove drip pans into the boiling water gently. Cover the pot with a lid and turn off the burner. Leave the drip pans in the hot water overnight to soak.
- 5). Fill a sink with hot water and 1 tsp. grease-cutting dish soap. Remove the drip pans from the pot to the sink.
- 6). Remove loosened food from the drip pans with a nylon scrubber.
- 7). Set drip pans on a paper towel on the counter and pour undiluted white vinegar over any hard-to-remove stains. Allow the vinegar to remain on the stains for 10 minutes.
- 8). Place the drip pans back into the soapy water in the sink and wash thoroughly with a dish rag. Rinse the drip pans in hot water and dry with a dish towel. Allow to dry and place back onto the stove burner.
