Roving Mars and Under the Sea in 3D

Roving Mars explores the mysteries of the Red Planet as seen through the eyes of the Mars Rovers. Under the Sea brings viewers face-to-face with stunning creatures of exotic and isolated parts of the Indo-Pacific ocean regions. The impact of global climate change on the seas is also explored.

IMA Summer Nights Film Series

Vintage Indiana Wine and Food Festival

More than 100 award-winning wines from Indiana wineries will be available for sampling (must be 21, ID required), along with food from Indiana’s top culinary experts, informational sessions, live music, artists' booths, and a KidZone for youngsters.

Indianapolis Air Show

The 13th Annual Indianapolis Air Show will feature the U.S. Navy Blue Angels plus historic fighter planes, bombers, trainers, and transports. Attractions will also include an antique car show, virtual army experience, military history exhibit, and giant-scale radio-controlled aircraft.

Strawberry Festival

Sponsored by Christ Church Cathedral, 125 Monument Circle, the Strawberry Festival is a celebration of one of the most delectable fruits of the season. Homemade shortcake with strawberries, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream will be served. In case of inclement weather, the event will take place in the church’s basement.

Italian Street Festival


When: June 12-13, 5-11 p.m.
Where: Holy Rosary Parish, 520 Stevens St., Indianapolis 46203
Admission: Free; free parking in the Eli Lilly lots on East and New Jersey streets

The festival features authentic Italian food and drink, live music and dancing, amusement rides, Saturday masses at 4:30 and 7 p.m., and an Italian religious procession at 6:45 p.m. Saturday.

Goodguys Hot Rod Nationals


When: June 12-13, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; June 14, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

The 21st annual show features the largest nostalgia drag race and over 5,000 racecars, hot rods, customs, classics, muscle cars and trucks through 1972; plus a swap meet; model car show; and more.

Talbot Street Art Fair


When: June 13, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; June 14, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

The 54th Annual Talbot Street Art Fair is a top-ranked, juried exhibition. This year’s show will feature over 250 artists and crafters from across the country. Please note that pets and bikes are discouraged.

Circle City Indy Pride Parade and Festival


When: June 13; parade begins at 10 a.m.; festival from 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

This annual event celebrates gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender rights and lifestyles. Twenty-three floats and numerous walking groups will take part in this year’s Circle City Indy Pride Parade, and over 100 vendors representing local and national organizations and businesses will be on hand while entertainers perform on stage throughout the day.

Scales & Tails Fest -- A Celebration of Pets
