Today, Berlin thrives as tourist community with over 50 retail, restaurant and lodging establishments. The Berlin Main Street Merchants promote a wide array of themed activities throughout the year, so travelers are never short of things to do in Berlin, Ohio. - Visit the Amish and Mennonite Heritage Center to see Behalt, a 265-foot cyclorama, or mural-in-the round. The cyclorama is only one of four to exist in the United States. The scenes interpret the Amish-Mennonite history from their early Anabaptist roots in Zurich, Switzerland in 1525 to the present. Guests view a video presentation about the Holmes County Amish community and other exhibits, such as the South Bunker Hill School, a Pioneer barn and a Conestoga wagon. The center also hosts an information and gift center on site. The center is open year-round and charges admission for guided tours and outside attractions.
