How to Make Your Own Spray-Bottle Cleaning Supplies
- 1). Mix 2 teaspoons of white vinegar into 16 ounces of water. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle. Use this spray as you would a commercial glass cleaner.
- 2). Add a few drops of tea tree oil and 2 ounces of vinegar to 16 ounces of water in a spray bottle to create a spray disinfectant. Alternatively, mix 8 ounces of water with 8 ounces of vinegar and add to your spray bottle.
- 3). Pour 1/2 teaspoon of dish soap and baking soda each into your spray bottle, then follow with 2 teaspoons of borax, found in the laundry section of the grocery store. Fill the spray bottle the rest of the way with water for a general-purpose cleaner.
- 4). Mix 16 ounces of water with 2 tablespoons of your favorite liquid fabric softener and spritz whatever needs deodorizing, including pillows, shoes and carpets.
