How to Sterilize Using Clorox
- 1). Mix 3/4 cup of Clorox Regular-Bleach with 1 gallon of water. Wash sinks, faucets, garbage cans, kitchen appliances and nonporous counter tops and floors with the bleach mixture and allow to stand for five minutes. Rinse with clean water.
- 2). Combine 1 tbsp. Clorox Regular-Bleach with 1 gallon of water. Soak baby bottles and cups for two minutes. Remove bottles and cups from the bleach solution and allow to air-dry.
- 3). Soak plastic cutting boards for two minutes in a solution of 1 tbsp. Clorox Regular-Bleach with one gallon of water. Remove cutting boards from bleach and allow to air-dry.
- 1). Mix 3/4 cup Clorox Regular-Bleach with 1 gallon of water. Wash bathtubs, sinks, tile and toilet surfaces with the bleach solution and allow to stand for five minutes. Rinse well and allow to air-dry.
- 2). Clean toilet bowls by pouring 1 cup of Clorox Regular-Bleach directly into the bowl. Scrub with a toilet brush and allow to stand for 10 minutes before flushing.
- 3). Soak plastic toys in a mixture of 1 gallon of water with 3/4 cup Clorox Regular-Bleach for five minutes. Drain the toys and let air-dry.
- 1). Combine 1 tbsp. Clorox Regular-Bleach with 1 gallon of water to clean pet food bowls. Soak the bowls in the bleach mixture for two minutes. Drain and air-dry.
- 2). Dilute 3/4 cup Clorox Regular-Bleach with 1 gallon of water to make a wall-cleaning solution. Wash walls with bleach solution and let stand for five minutes. Rinse with clean water and let dry.
- 3). Add 3/4 cup of bleach to 1 gallon of water. Wipe light switches with bleach solution and let stand for five minutes. Rinse and allow to air-dry.
