How to Get to Woodridge, New York by Bus or Train
- 1). Travel to New York City or an intermediate bus stop between there and Sullivan County. Use Greyhound, Amtrak or a similar means of transportation. Greyhound's main New York City station is at the Port Authority Bus Terminal at 625 8th Ave., the same location that Short Line buses depart for Woodridge. Amtrak trains stop at Penn Station, a half-mile to the southwest of the PABT at 8th Avenue between 31st and 33rd streets.
- 2). Determine which departure time fits your schedule. Four buses leave for Woodridge from New York City on a daily basis. There are also several locations within Sullivan County between Liberty and Monticello that you may board one of three daily Short Line buses that travel that route and travel to Woodridge.
- 3). Pay for your ticket. Short Line accepts MasterCard, Visa and American Express. There are several locations in the Northeast where you may purchase a ticket, including at the PABT. If you are starting your journey at a station that does not sell tickets, you may pay the driver in cash.
- 4). Depart bus at Green Avenue and Route 53 in Woodridge.
