  Richardson, a city in the northeastern suburb of Dallas, Texas, is home to the Telecom Corridor, which is a concentration of major telecommunications companies. Formed in 1873 after the expansion of the Central Railroad, it quickly expanded after Highway 75 (US-75) was constructed in the 1950s.
