56

    Peroxide

    • 1). Pour a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide onto a dry, white cloth.

    • 2). Place the peroxide cloth on top of the scorch mark, and use it as an ironing cloth. On a low setting, iron over the cloth and the scorch mark.

    • 3). Repeat as many times as necessary until the scorch mark is gone.

    White Vinegar

    • 1). Soak a cloth with white distilled vinegar.

    • 2). Rub at the scorch mark with the vinegar-soaked cloth.

    • 3). Alternate the vinegar cloth with a cloth that has only water on it. Continue until the scorch mark is gone.

    Detergent

    • 1). Pour a tablespoon of liquid detergent that is safe for your wool onto the scorch mark.

    • 2). Wash the garment as you normally would, either by hand or on a gentle cycle of the washing machine. Use cold water.

    • 3). Let the wool garment air-dry.
