DIY Duet Washer Cleaning
- 1). Dampen a cloth with warm water and wring it out. Apply two or three drops of dish detergent to the cloth.
- 2). Wipe the exterior of the washing machine with the cloth to remove any dirt or residue. Clean the control panel and window.
- 3). Rinse the cloth with water and wipe the washing machine to remove any detergent residue.
- 4). Remove any items from inside the washing machine.
- 5). Pull out the detergent and softener dispenser. Press the release tabs and remove the dispenser. Lift out the cover panel from the compartment beneath the dispenser.
- 6). Wipe the cover panel and dispenser with a soapy cloth to remove any residue, then rinse them with warm water.
- 7). Dry the cover panel and dispenser with a clean cloth.
- 8). Place the cover panel in the dispenser compartment. Slide the dispenser into place above the cover panel.
- 9). Press the "Power" button and select the "Clean Washer" cycle.

Press the "Start/Pause" button and hold it until the cycle begins. - 11
Open the washing machine door when the cycle completes. - 12
Inspect the seal around the door opening. Remove any stains or mildew with a mixture of 3/4 cup chlorine bleach and 1 gallon of warm water. Dip a cloth into the solution and wipe the seal thoroughly. Allow the bleach solution to sit for five minutes. - 13
Wipe the seal with a cloth and leave the door open for ventilation.
