Hotels Near Hoedown Island in Kentucky
- Hoedown Island is in central Kentucky's Natural Bridge State Resort Park, and is the heralded home of the Hoedown Island Cloggers dance company. This area of the park features an outdoor stage that hosts live dancing entertainment every Saturday night throughout the year. Tourists who want see this dancing extravaganza, or hike to the park's natural Sky Bridge, can find hotels in and around Natural Bridge State Park. Dining options are available within the park.
- The Lil' Abner Motel is less than 10 minutes from Hoedown Island in Natural Bridge State Resort Park, and provides an outdoor swimming pool with sundeck and a picnic pavilion with barbecue grills. The inn is within 10 minutes of Campton Lake, which is right off the Combs Mountain Parkway, and Mill Creek Lake, which in the park. The hotel is within walking distance of Hoedown Island. The lodge features 35 guest rooms with private balconies, and some of them overlook Hoedown Island. The swimming pool area also features a stone bathhouse.
The lodge is within walking distance of Natural Bridge Park's 20 miles of hiking trails, and Sky Bridge, the natural bridge that the park is named for. Visitors can hike to the Sky Bridge or take advantage of the park's Sky Lift, a 600-foot tramway that ascends from the park's front entrance to the bridge.
