How to Remove Yellow Urine Stains From Carpet
- 1). Place several paper towels over the urine stain if it is still fresh. Press down on the paper towels to soak up as much urine as possible.
- 2). Pour 1/2 cup white vinegar and 1/2 cup water into a bowl, and mix them together well.
- 3). Pour the liquid over the stain.
- 4). Work the solution into the stain with a scrubbing brush.
- 5). Blot the excess moisture with paper towels.
- 6). Pour baking soda onto the stain after the carpet has dried.
- 7). Mix 1/2 cup 3 percent hydrogen peroxide and 1 tsp. liquid dishwashing detergent together in a bowl.
- 8). Pour the solution on top of the baking soda.
