Kenalog Injection Side Effects
- As mentioned, there are certain side effects associated with using kenalog injections. Some of these side effects include weight gain, increased appetite, higher than normal blood sugar, muscle weakness, water retention, thinning of the skin, indigestion, nausea and vomiting. While these are considered the most common side effects associated with using this medication, they only affect a small number of users.
- Unfortunately, there are also a number of severe side effects associated with this medication. Some of these side effects include increased susceptibility to infection, depression, suicidal thoughts, Cushing's syndrome, changes in the menstrual cycle, blood clots, slowed growth in children and severe joint pain. These side effects are also very rare and do not affect a large number of users.
- Kenalog injections have been known to cause increased dizziness and drowsiness in users and it is strongly recommended that users do not operate any type of machinery throughout the course of treatment. This drug should be used with extreme caution in women who are pregnant and breast feeding and should only be considered if it is absolutely essential to the mother's health. Kenalog injections should never be given to children under the age of six.

Kenalog injections are administered in needle form and should be performed by a medical professional in a medical setting. Never inject this medication into unstable joints as it can lead to increased instability. Store kenalog injections at room temperature and away from sources of moisture.
