How to Remove Stains From Brick Flooring
- 1). Measure out enough oxygen bleach powder to cover the stain and add in water a little at a time until it reaches a paste consistency.
- 2). Apply the paste to the stain, covering it completely in a layer about ¼ inch thick. Let it sit for 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the nature of the stain. Outside brick with mildew stains only needs to sit under the paste for 10 minutes, while set in stains can take up to 30 minutes.
- 3). Scrub the stain with a stiff-bristled scrub brush, adding more water if the paste has thickened or dried. If any of the stain remains, reapply and let the paste sit for longer.
- 4). Rinse the brick thoroughly with clean water and dry the floor thoroughly with rags or towels.
