How to Get a Stain out of a Sunbrella
- 1). Brush the surface dirt off the Sunbrella fabric with a clean, soft bristled brush.
- 2). Fill a 5-gallon bucket with 1 gallon of cool water. Add 1 cup of chlorine bleach and 1/4 cup of dish soap. For a safer alternative, replace chlorine bleach with oxygen bleach. Replace the bleach with 3 oz. of white vinegar to remove vomit and urine stains.
- 3). Dampen a sponge in the mixture and blot the stain until the Sunbrella fabric is saturated.
- 4). Scrub the stain gently with a soft-bristled brush until the stain is no longer visible.
- 5). Rinse the residue off the Sunbrella fabric by blotting with a clean cloth dampened in cool water. Pat the fabric dry with a towel.
- 6). Blot grease or oil stains off the Sunbrella fabric with a white cloth dampened with acetone-containing nail polish remover. Rinse the acetone off with a damp cloth and let air dry.
