How to Clean a Microsuede Couch That Got Wet
- 1). Wet a clean, white cloth. Wring out the cloth to get rid of extra moisture.
- 2). Wipe the water stain with the wet cloth. Dampen the entire water stain.
- 3). Place a folded white cloth or towel over the damp area.
- 4). Place a heavy book or similar object on top of the cloth or towel to weigh it down.
- 5). Wait 30 to 45 minutes as the cloth absorbs the moisture.
- 6). Remove the weighted item and the cloth to check the area. The stain probably has disappeared. If not, repeat the process of moistening the area and blotting the fabric dry again.
