How to Clean Stains Off of Dark-Colored Upholstery
- 1). Dab any wet stained areas with a soft cloth to absorb any excess liquid.
- 2). Vacuum any loose dirt or debris from the dark-colored upholstery with a soft brush attachment. Skip this step if the upholstery is wet.
- 3). Apply upholstery cleaner to the stained areas and allow it to sit for the recommended amount of time indicated on the package.
- 4). Scrub the stained areas gently with a soft-bristled brush or wipe it thoroughly with a soft cloth.
- 5). Wipe the upholstery with a clean, wet cloth if rinsing is necessary.
- 6). Dab the upholstery with a soft, dry cloth to absorb any excess liquid. Allow the upholstery to air-dry for two to three hours or overnight.
