How to Clean Off Floors With Calcium Chloride
- 1). Mix a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and warm water in a bucket.
- 2). Dip the mop in the vinegar and water solution, and wet the floor. Allow the water to sit for a minute to absorb the salt.
- 3). Mop up the water, and then thoroughly dry the floor with a towel. Make sure the floor is completely dry; otherwise, the water may damage the wood.
- 1). Make up a 50/50 vinegar and white water solution in the bucket, or use a bowl if the stain is small.
- 2). Vacuum the stained area to remove any loose salt debris.
- 3). Dampen the carpet with the vinegar solution, and allow it to soak in for 20 minutes.
- 4). Blot the area with a damp sponge.
- 1). Make up a 50/50 water and white vinegar solution in a bucket.
- 2). Wet the broom with the vinegar/water solution, and scrub the stained area thoroughly until you see the stain begin to lift.
- 3). Mop up the water, vinegar and the stain with a clean mop.
- 4). Rinse the area with clean water, then scrub over it again with the broom.
