Cleaning Instructions for an IHL36
- 1). Remove the filter from an IHL36 hood liner by sliding it away from the hood.
- 2). Fill a sink with hot water and a squirt of a grease-reducing liquid dish soap.
- 3). Dip a soft dish cloth into the soapy water and wipe down the surface of the hood. Follow the grain of the stainless steel to remove dust, residue and food particles.
- 4). Rinse the cloth until all soap is removed. Wipe down the steel to remove all soap residue. Dry with a microfiber cloth to prevent water spotting.
- 5). Submerge the filter in the soapy dish water and allow it to soak for 15 minutes.
- 6). Use the dish cloth to wipe away any remaining residue or food particles.
- 7). Rinse away soap residue under cool running water.
- 8). Allow the filter to air dry before sliding it back into the the hood vent.
