How to Remove Caulk From an RV
- 1). Climb on the roof. Use great caution and stay away from the edges at all costs.
- 2). Dig out the old caulking using the plastic drywall scraper. Be careful not to tear the roof.
- 3). Use the utility knife to get in hard-to-reach places that the scraper cannot reach or is not sharp enough to dig up.
- 4). Wash off the area with soap and water and let it air-dry. Wash away anything so the caulking sticks best.
- 5). Apply new caulk once dry.
